Email Setup - Ziexam AI

Menu Location

Go to Communication > Email Setup. This is required for "Forgot Password", "Exam Invitations", and "Payment Receipts" to work.

SMTP (Recommended)

Standard Simple Mail Transfer Protocol. Compatible with Gmail, Outlook, Amazon SES, and most hosting providers. Highly recommended for deliverability.

PHP Mail

Uses the server's local sendmail function. Easier to set up but often blocked by spam filters. Use only for testing.

API Drivers

Built-in support for Mailgun and Postmark APIs for high-volume enterprise sending.

Test Connection

After saving your settings, use the "Test Mail" button at the bottom of the page to send a dummy email to your own address. If it arrives, your configuration is correct.
