Coupons Manager
Create discount codes for marketing campaigns and student incentives.
Feature Overview
Menu Access
Navigate to Finance > Coupons to view all active, expired, and scheduled discount codes.
Coupon Database
The central list view displays key details for every coupon:
Code: The actual string users enter.
Discount: Value (Fixed or %) off.
Usage: Real-time progress bar (e.g., 45/100 used).
Expiry: Date when the code becomes invalid.
Create Button
Opens the creation wizard. Use this to launch new seasonal offers or specific student discounts.
Edit Controls
Click the pencil icon to modify an existing coupon. You can extend the expiry date or increase the usage limit for popular campaigns.
Delete Action
Permanently removes the coupon. Warning: This cannot be undone, and users trying to redeem this code will receive an "Invalid Code" error.
Configuration Form
Flexible settings to define your offer:
Type: Choose "Fixed Amount" ($10 off) or "Percent" (20% off).
Usage Limit: Cap the total number of redemptions to create scarcity.
Min Purchase: Set a threshold (e.g., Min $50) to increase cart value.
Finalize
Click "Create Coupon" to activate the code immediately. It becomes usable on the checkout page the moment you save.
